Aerial Classes

Note:

  • ALL STUDENTS MUST register online prior to arrival to reserve a place in class.

  • Please bring your own yoga mat to class; we do not supply them. 

Intro To Aerial Silks (All Levels)

This is an introduction to Aerial Silks for beginners. Start learning the basics of Aerial Silks/Fabrics. We will start the class with a warm-up on a Yoga mat to prepare the body to climb. Then we will go to the Silks and start conditioning exercises. In this class you will be practicing a lot of pull ups and climbing techniques.

Wear Yoga clothing (LONG PANTS). No experience needed.​

Aerial Silks Level 1

This is a continuation of Intro to Aerial Silks, building on skills learned in the intro level. After a class warm-up, students will be learning poses, spending more time in the air, building strength and endurance and working on longer flow progressions. You must be promoted from Intro level to advance to Aerial Silks Level 1.  Students must be comfortable with climbing, basic foot locks and inverting from the floor.

Aerial Silks Level 2

Level 2 is reserved for advanced students ready to push their skills further. Students must complete fundamentals of level 1 to be able to advance in Aerial Silks Level 2. If you are new to the studio and have prior experience, please contact management.

Fabric Flow and Drops Level 2

This class is for Aerial Silks students who want to take their fundamental skills to the next level. You will explore movement, poses, and more challenging drops with the goal of increasing your strength and endurance. Sequencing and choreography will be expolored as you gain knowledge of how these moves flow and connect. 
Students must be able to climb comfortably, invert aerially, and hip key.

Start learning the basics of Aerial Hoop/Lyra. We will start the class with a warm up on a Yoga mat to prepare the body to climb. Then we will go to the hoop and start conditioning exercises. In this class you will be practicing a lot of pull ups and climbing techniques.

Wear Yoga clothing (LONG PANTS). No experience needed.​  ​

Aerial Hoop Level 1

This is a continuation of Intro To Aerial Hoop, building on skills learned in the intro level. You must be promoted from intro level to move to Level 1.

Aerial Yoga (All Levels)

After a warm up on the mat this class focuses on building the strength to progress to Aerial fabric and is perfect for the absolute beginner. You will learn how to invert, climb, and stretch in an Aerial Hammock/Sling. You will hang, climb, and swing to balance your mind, body, and spirit. No experience needed.
Wear yoga attire; long sleeves are recommended. 

Hoop Flow and Combos (Advanced Beginner and Up)

Focus on transitions, fluidity, and momentum with advanced beginner and intermediate Lyra combos. Must have approval from an aerial instructor to advance to this class.

Mixed Aerial Conditioning

Mixed Aerial Conditioning is an all-levels class designed to introduce students to various aerial apparatuses. Class will utilize aerial hoop (lyra), silks, and hammock in a circuit-style format to help students build upper body and core strength, as well as functional flexibility. No experience needed. Wear yoga attire; long sleeves are recommended.

**When you arrive, look for a banner outside Building 9 labeled "Entrance i" and take the elevator to the 3rd floor.

Off 495 take the Merrimack St exit (exit 44). At the light turn right at Salvatore's Restaurant and Conference Center (also labeled 500 Merrimack). Building 9 Entry I (between H and J) is diagonally across the parking lot from the restaurant. (Tallman Eye Associates is on the 1st floor). Take the elevator to the 3rd floor and turn left.
